Have you ever been in a situation where your present circumstances were not enough, you weren’t completely happy with the direction of your life, and you just wanted a change for the better? Have you ever thought that you had so much more to give to life and life still had so much more to give you?
You are not strange or alone to have these thoughts. Many times people have these thoughts and hit the brick wall of not knowing what to do or even where to start and they end up going down the road of resentment and regret. You don’t have to end up on that road! There is a way to have positive change that will get you the results that you want and need in life.
The question is, are you going to be courageous enough to work towards it?
Many times our own thoughts poison us and intimidate us into living a small life. We also become tainted by the noise of the outside world telling us how difficult or impossible it is to live the life that we envisioned.
So HOW do you overcome all of this?

- Stop The Noise!
Your mind can be your best friend or your worst nightmare. Controlling what you allow to go into your mind and also what you concentrate on will allow you to think the positive thoughts that will help you to get to the next level. At times you will have to be your biggest cheerleader. Encourage yourself and believe in yourself. The second part to this is to get away from outside noise. Many times we tend to hear negative things and take it like a grain a salt as if it doesn’t effect us in an adverse way. That kind of thinking is totally wrong. If you are constantly around and hearing people who are not trying to change, go to the next level, or work towards a better life, it will be impossible for you to do the same. Put in place people around you that are thinking positive and wanting positive change just as you do.
2. Create Boundaries
Whether we like it or not, you have to have boundaries in life. You have to be willing to take control over your life and in order to do that you have to get a clear understand and perception of what that looks like. What ever falls outside of those boundaries you are going to have to make the decision to put them aside or take them completely out of your life.
It’s ok to let people know what is acceptable and unacceptable in your life. You do not and should not put up with things that are not healthy for you just to be liked or accepted. Setting boundaries will always attract the people and thing in your life that will not go against or out of your boundaries.
3. Take The Risks That Are Necessary
In life there are people that take small risks and people that take BIG risks. The difference between these two people are going to be significant. We all have the same amount of time in a day so why are there people who are hugely successful with achieving their goals and there are other people who seem to always come up short? One of the main things that differentiates the two is the risks that they have chosen to take. The courage that they decided to exhort so that they can see their dreams come to reality.
Ask yourself if you are really ready for positive change or is this just something that sounds good. If it is not just something that sounds good and you really want this for your life, then you are going to have to make the decision to DO THE WORK!!!! There is no magic wand, no easy button, and no fairy god mother that is going to change you into the person that you want to be. Take the steps necessary and you will see the positive change that you desire.
